Beat the Recession by Having An Awesomely Succesful Energy Business
Recently I got a note from someone saying she wanted The Insider Secrets to A Successful EFT/Energy Business.
But she said that she was so worried about the “oncoming recession” and the “money-crunch” that she had almost stopped spending completely and was in a complete quandary about what to do.
I asked her what would happen to her business as an EFT practitioner if she knew how to get more clients and had more effective marketing tactics resulting in more sales.
She said she really doubted that she’d be able to do that.
So I asked her if it was a matter of spending the money, or if was it really that she didn’t trust herself to do or be able to do what it took to build her business and clientele.

Stop Beating Yourself Up!
In the past couple of weeks, I’ve noticed that people seem to be having trouble focusing, keeping on track, and “getting anywhere.” Each one I speak with is surprised that it seems like a general trend, and not “just them.”I don’t know how we can think it’s just us.
Think of floating down a huge river. It’s got flotsam and jetsam, it’s got whirlpools and eddies and backwaters, it’s got clear smooth runs and terrible white water around and over rocks, and shallow places where it’s fun to ride downstream on inner tubes.
Why do we think we can possibly be in control 24/7? Stop blaming yourself or others when you get caught in whirlpools and eddies!
Be kind to yourself when that tree passing you by in the water bonks you on the head. And don’t beat your self up for missing that beach where you could have had a lovely picnic–there will be another one!

Do You Know About These Trial & Membership Site Hazards?
You’ve probably seen the proliferation of membership sites and one-month ‘free’ trial on websites over the past year.
They’re a great idea–but please be careful.
Some one-month ‘free’ trials don’t have end-of-trial notifications, and if you’ve forgotten you signed up, it can be a big surprise to get their charge on your card at the end of the trial time.
Here’s what I’ve learned to do:
I’m really choosey now as to what I sign up for! If I do decide to do the trial, I write on a sticky note the site name, my info (username and password), and the date I signed up for the trial membership.
If I have doubts as to whether I’m going to stay, I make a reminder to check with myself by a certain date so I can unsubscribe if I want to before I get charged.
If I know I’m going to stay, I add the site to my list of monthly payments that I make so it won’t be a surprise when my card gets charged.

Your Little Part May Mean A Lot in the Long Term….
In the 60s, I lived in New York City. Somehow, although I was surrounded with artists, musicians, poets and writers on a daily basis at the art school I attended, my parents expected me to keep myself suspended from that reaity and “keep pure of mind”–whatever that meant!
Suffice it to say that if they actually thought about it and realized that I was hanging out with these people, my very straight folks would have had apoplexy and keeled over on the spot.
One Sunday afternoon when I was visiting my folks, I had a wild urge to sneak up into the attic. We were expressly forbidden the attic because it was “unsafe.” Unsafe, meaning that, over the broad expanse of most of the attic there was no floor, with only a small section at the far end covered with enough plywood to allow a small stack of old boxes to not fall through to the floors below. Dianne LeGro, Speakers’ Coach Extraordinaire
I remember when my little brother was very little, he was a merry little guy, and he used to go out into the day with a song on his lips. Always humming or singing, and later on, playing his guitar. Now as an adult, he has his own band. It was so great growing up next to such a vibrant, happy individual.
